Bad things happen however, the risk vs benefit analysis of this system is obvious. Massive, unheard of returns over surprisingly short time frames.
This is due to lot sizings that are based on a percentage of profit. Exponential returns. Taking 7.5K USD or about 10K CAD to 7 figures is extremely likely.
By never risking more than you are willing to lose, as long as it is at least 7.5K USD, you minimize your risks and maximize your potential returns.
The graphs below show real historical data, this data is specific to Fusion Markets (Important as each broker has different liquidity markets, different time frames and different costs associated with trading on their platforms. So, every time I want to set up a new broker, I have to download that brokers specific data, and test the system on their specific platform.
Due to using Python and the metatrader 5 connector (due to my familiarity to this platform), you MUST use a windows 10/11 OS to run my software. This will not change any time soon.
Chart 1 - 10K Balance Growth
This shows a 100% success rate on the last 5 years of forex data. At the end of the chart I ignored 2 trades that were ongoing as if I show them it looks like losses, when in fact it they are simply mid-process.
Balance Sweep:
Why is 7K USD an optimal starting amount?
The systems robustness is based on the utilization of two complimentary forex pairs with an almost 0% overlap in dd. Only relying on one of the forex pairs is dangerous and leads to historical charts that show good growth but dangerous instability. By pairing these two forex currencies I was able to smooth the curve, lower the draw downs and increase the balance growth. The following balance sweep shows that there is not a great deal to be gained by a starting balance above 6.5K. HOWEVER, if you happen to start trading during a particularly bad time, the balance in the account can decrease below this 6.5K amount and the program will revert to a single EURGBP strategy. In order to avoid this, I found that starting with approximately 7K USD is optimal. Even when starting at a particularly bad time historically the 7K start does not drop the balance below the 6.5K optimal.
